The Company Barber isn’t built around one name it’s built around a standard.
That standard was sharpened early working as the company barber inside Facebook’s headquarters (now Meta), where consistency, professionalism, and quality weren’t optional. Every cut had to be right. That mindset still drives the shop today.
Robert’s path into barbering wasn’t planned. After being laid off during the 2008 recession, he took a chance on the trade backed by early exposure growing up around his stepdad, who was a barber. He committed to learning it the right way, built his skill over time, and carried that foundation forward.
In 2022, he opened The Company Barber in Fremont not as a personal brand, but as a place for serious barbers to work.
What started as one chair has grown into a company of talented, licensed barbers. Each brings their own style and experience, but the expectation is the same: be punctual, be precise, and deliver clean, consistent work.
Today, across Fremont and Union City, The Company Barber stands as a professional environment where the standard doesn’t slip.
The recognition Best of Fremont 2024 and 2025 reflects that commitment, but the real strength is the team behind the chairs. The barbers are the backbone of this company.

With 40 years behind the chair, Lewis brings a level of precision and control that’s hard to come by.
An East Palo Alto native, he spent much of his career on the Peninsula, building his reputation the right way—through consistency, attention to detail, and work that speaks for itself. Lewis and Robert also cut together for many years at Facebook HQ, earning the trust of a diverse and discerning clientele.
With a background in both cosmetology and barbering, Lewis specializes in precision scissor work—layering, texturizing, afro shaping, longer men’s styles—and professional hair coloring. His approach is scissor-driven, supported by strong clipper work to deliver clean, well-executed tapers and seamless blends, and well-executed beard shaping. Lewis does not offer straight razor shaving services.

Ehab, known as “E,” has quickly built a reputation at The Company Barber for precision, consistency, and clean execution.

Brandon is a skilled barber with a strong focus on clean, well-executed fades and modern men’s styles.
After transitioning from a medical career in 2019, he found his lane in barbering and hasn’t looked back. With experience in both barbershop and salon environments, Brandon brings versatility to the chair—able to adapt his approach to fit each client.
He takes pride in making sure every client leaves looking sharp and feeling right. Outside the shop, Brandon spends his time working on his car—bringing that same hands-on focus and attention to detail into his work behind the chair.

Michael has been cutting hair for over 20 years and still enjoys every minute of it. Throughout his career he’s worked in Atlanta, Manteca, and San Jose, meeting people from all walks of life and mastering all types of hair along the way. Even on his days off, family and friends still find their way to his chair for a cut.
Michael specializes in clean comb overs and sharp fades, delivering classic, well-executed haircuts that keep his clients looking fresh.
